In Los Cabos, most businesses accept credit cards, debit cards, and American cash, but not all of them accept American Express. So it’s just a matter of asking first to avoid inconvenience.
It is also a good idea to exchange some of your U.S. dollars for pesos before you fly to Mexico, just to be prepared. Also, note that d U.S. dollars are accepted at the toll roads in Cabo, but not credit cards.
