The de-constructed clubhouse (a collection of separate building for each function) are magnificent. High quality within understand grandeur. Welcoming staff. Spectacular landscaping. Large, magnificent houses on the property were perched on the numerous hillsides, supported by retaining walls of mining company proportions. The practice area is typically excellent as is the case for the good courses in this part of the world. As were the helpful staff.
The course is the classic American power over nature, ‘All hail my control over my dominion’ style with immaculate fairways and landscaping cut out of the hostile, dry Mexican desert. The result is … wait… I have to use the word… “Awesome!” Sorry.. I know everything in the States is ‘”Awesome” including just ordering something from a menu, but here that word is appropriate.
